Blount County has a proven track record of working with companies on their workforce, job skills and training needs. We've customized programs and worked with companies such as Marriott, DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc., Sanford Brands, Cermaspeed , USi, and Alcoa, Inc. Additionally, Blount County provides grant money on a case-by-case basis for companies who will hire at least 25 new employees and make an investment into the local economy.

Blount County pulls a large geographical area for available skilled workers to suit any type of business. We're fortunate to have quality workers with a strong work ethic with very low worker turnover and absenteeism rates.

Vocational training, technical and certificate programs, along with the area's higher educational institutions, help ensure area workers have all the necessary tools for the highest level of performance.
