New technology park is 450-acres with a focus on technology, corporate research, and high tech business development.
Located at the intersection of Pellissippi Parkway and Old Knoxville Highway in Alcoa, Tennessee.
Unprecedented Collaboration! Park is the collaboration of two cities, Alcoa and Maryville, and two counties, Blount and Knox, and the Economic Development Board of Blount County working together. Each partner committed 25% of the money needed to develop the park.
Park will feature underground utilities, brick and stone buildings and other restrictions and covenants to maintain the integrity of the property.
230 acres of the park will be used for research and development and corporate office space, while the other 125 acres will be used for mixed use development.
Anchor tenant is Molecular Pathology Laboratory Network, Inc.
Over the course of the project, the park is expected to create over $1 billion dollars in economic impact.
Total build out of the park is estimated between 20 and 30 years.
