The Blount County Economic Development Board is a government agency that strives to bring new business to the area as well as provide support to existing businesses. We are your partner in making a successful transition to Blount County.

The Industrial Board of Blount County & the Cities of Alcoa and Maryville, TN (IDB) supports and endorses nondiscrimination in its’ hiring and contracting practices. The IDB further commits to be in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in support of all federally funded initiatives as outlined in Section 7 of the Tennessee Department of Transportation Local Government Guidelines for the Management of Federal and State Funded Transportation Projects (LGG).
