The TN Career Center-Blount County is located at 366 Glascock Street, Alcoa, TN 37701, across the street from Midland Plaza. The Center provides assistance in such services as: job referral/job placement, interviewing, testing, job development, unemployment insurance, internet access, labor market information, and specific employment web sites. Classroom opportunities are available to improve your math, computer, resume writing, interviewing, and job readiness skills. The center also provides assistance for employers by creating publicity for job openings, pre-screening for applicants, information on tax credits, opportunities to train employees, and valuable information for workers affected through downsizing and closures. There is no cost to the individual or employer for any services.
